Hashem Ashrafiuon, PhD, is Director of the Center for Nonlinear Dynamics and Control at Villanova University (Villanova, PA). Dr. Ashrafiuon has 25 years of research experience in nonlinear dynamics and has been working on brain signal processing and analysis for the past three (3) years. He and his team have written the vast majority of the signal processing modules for Cerora including an artifact detection pre-processing module, a spectral analysis (FFT) module, a non-linear dynamics module, and a wavelet transform module that includes both discrete and continuous wavelet transforms.
